Descripción

167 weather and nature sounds for Unity, including 56 seamless loops. Layer rain, wind, water, fire and wildlife under a scene, then add varied thunder, gusts, splashes and bird calls.

What's inside
  • 167 mono WAVs at 48 kHz, 24-bit, imported as AudioClips in seven category folders.

  • Rain (26), thunder (24), wind (20), winter (17), water (21), fire (24) and wildlife (35).

  • 56 ten-second loops, named _loop, for rain surfaces, wind, water, fire and wildlife ambience.

  • Varied one-shot takes: close, mid and far thunder, lightning, gusts, cracking ice, waves, splashes, fire pops, birds, owls and frogs.

  • A soundboard demo with category tabs and a button per sound.

Installation and compatibility

Import weather-nature-sfx-1.0.0.unitypackage, open Assets/WeatherNatureSFX/Demo/L_WeatherNatureSFXDemo.unity and press Play. The demo needs Unity 6.3 or later and uses IMGUI, with no input package required. Play clips with AudioSource.PlayOneShot; set an AudioSource to loop for continuous ambience. The audio and demo have no pipeline-specific materials and work with Built-in, URP and HDRP. Delivered import, demo startup and every clip's playback were checked in a fresh Built-in project.

Additional files

The source archive contains the same 167 sounds as WAV and OGG, grouped by category, for use in other engines. The package includes documentation and example C# source.

In the Unity package: every sound as an AudioClip, a folder per kind, and a demo scene with a button per sound.

The Python code that synthesises every sound and the demo's C# scripts were written with the help of AI (Anthropic's Claude); no generative audio model, no samples, no recordings. Every sound passes an automated check for clipping, clicks, silence and loudness.

Third-party component details are documented in Third-Party Notices.txt in the Unity package.
