The Sunburn Shores Motel Sign

The Sundown Shores Motel during the 1940’s and 50’s, this establishment was a quaint getaway from the nearby cities for those seeking sea and sand. The name was changed by new management in the early 1970’s to the Sunburn Shores Motel in the hopes of the unique title and humor attracting new patrons.

With the addition of attractions very nearby in the 1980’s it seems the motel gained a new lease on life into the future. So, here we are today.
