Video of the environment available here.
Enter the world of old Japan with this Edo period style environment, built from hundreds of modular assets and props to detail your scene exactly the way you want. The scene itself has over 150 buildings, with some enterable interiors.
The environment is hand crafted from modular pieces and includes 13 ready-made buildings to easily get started building your own environments. In addition to the pre-made buildings, the pack includes a large set of alternative pieces, so you can freely modify and rebuild the structures to fit your vision.
Everything is built on a consistent modular grid and ships with blueprints and a spline tool to make assembling streets, fences and full buildings fast. The pack runs on Lumen out of the box and is Nanite-ready, with 3D scanned temple assets included for maximum fidelity.
Included are (but not limited to) the following:
~500 modular building pieces, covering walls, paneling, ceilings, roofs, floors, foundations, beams, balconies, windows, koshi, ranma, shoji, tatami, nureen, irori, koagari, stairs, fences, gardens, streets, bridges, river and riverbank pieces
16 lanterns and lights, including chouchin (box, bura, odawara, takahari), andon and wall lanterns
54 props, all era appropriate — wheelbarrows (daihachiguruma), futon, tawara, oke, rice bags, sake casks and bottles, barrels, baskets, kakejiku, mizugame, abacus, tea ware and more
28 furniture items - tables, chests (nagamochi), seating, dividers and similar
26 foliage assets - cedar, camphora, cherry, bamboo, persimmon, sakaki, aoki, fern, grass and rice
11 3D scanned temple assets for high detail close-ups
15 building blueprints (13 houses plus a tea house and storage shed) for instant placement
Spline tool and rice field blueprint to speed up scene creation
Decals and assorted ground detail to break up surfaces
All assets share a clean, consistent material setup and modular pivots, so pieces snap together cleanly and are easy to mix, match and extend into your own layouts. The pivots use traditional 45 or 90 snap setup.
