Flying Companion Drone is a modular Blueprint system for adding a replicated flying drone companion that follows the player in real time.

The system is designed for quick integration into Unreal Engine projects. The drone can smoothly follow the player, keep a configurable offset, switch between left and right side positions, and rotate using different rotation modes.

The asset supports both procedural hover movement and animation-based hover behavior. This makes it suitable for simple custom drones without animations, as well as skeletal mesh drones with their own hover animations.

A demo drone is included with skeletal mesh, physics asset, skeleton, material instance, textures, and sample hover animations. The demo setup can be used as an example or replaced with your own drone mesh.

The system also includes multiplayer-ready logic with replicated drone spawning, replicated control settings, replicated side switching, replicated rotation mode changes, and synchronized hover animation playback.
