Description
Fast Food System is a complete food consumption, survival, and player condition solution that allows players to purchase and consume meals directly inside the game world while introducing gameplay mechanics tied to hunger, health, and character progression.
Players can order and eat food at the restaurant counter to restore health or use a basic drivable vehicle to access the drive-thru system, creating a more immersive and interactive gameplay experience where food can be consumed without leaving the vehicle.
To support purchases and demonstrate the complete interaction flow, the system also includes a basic currency feature that handles transactions during gameplay.
Beyond simple food interaction, the system introduces a dynamic hunger mechanic where players must eat regularly to maintain their condition, triggering notifications when hunger becomes critical and gradually reducing health over time if ignored.
If health reaches zero due to starvation or damage, the player dies and respawns through a configurable respawn point system, making it possible to recreate experiences such as spawning outside a hospital after death.
To further enhance gameplay progression, the system includes a modified mannequin with blendshapes that visually demonstrates weight gain and weight loss depending on player eating habits, automatically becoming thinner when the player goes long periods without food.
These body changes also directly affect gameplay performance, with overweight characters moving more slowly while thinner characters gain faster movement speed, adding a strategic layer to player management.
For testing and gameplay demonstration, the system also includes a damage actor and an optional armor vest feature that can be used as an additional health layer, creating more flexibility for survival or action-based projects.
Designed as a flexible and expandable template, the Fast Food System serves as a strong foundation for survival, simulation, roleplay, or progression-driven gameplay experiences.
