32 looping nature and plant effects: the druid and forest kit, all looping. Leaf swirls, drifting pollen, coiling vines, pulsing blooms, forest wisps, glowing moss, thorn auras and dripping sap, for ambience as much as for spells.
These are 2D sprite animations. Every effect is a flipbook of drawn frames, not a 3D particle system and not a VFX Graph asset. You play them on a sprite, a quad or a UI image, which is why they behave the same in any engine and need no per-engine setup.
How this pack is organised: the pack is one theme. The theme holds 8 effects, and each effect comes as 4 separate animated variations of itself, so the same effect does not play identical frames every time it fires. 32 animations in total.
Every variation ships in four formats, ready for whatever your engine prefers:
frames/001-024.png - numbered RGBA sequence, 768x768
sheet.png - one 5x5 spritesheet, 3840x3840, RGBA
anim.png - lossless animated PNG with alpha, for web and UI
preview.gif - small looping preview for quick browsing
The eight effects:
Leaf Swirl - ONE single swirling ring of leaves, centred in a pure black field, several small green leaves circling in a loose ring with faint motion trails
Pollen Drift - ONE single drifting swarm of pollen motes, centred in a pure black field, ten to fifteen large bright glowing golden-green motes scattered loosely across the frame, each one big and clearly visible with a strong soft halo, strongly luminous, no cloud shape holding them together
Vine Coil - ONE single coiling green vine, centred in a pure black field, a single thick green vine curling upward in a loose spiral with small leaves along it
Bloom Pulse - ONE single pulsing burst of green light, centred in a pure black field, ragged tongues of green-white light flaring outward from a bright core at uneven lengths, asymmetric, made of light alone
Forest Wisp - ONE single floating spirit wisp, centred in a pure black field, a bright green flame-like spirit light filling much of the frame, a broad soft halo around it and a long drifting tail behind, strongly luminous
Moss Glow - ONE single patch of glowing moss, centred in a pure black field, an irregular soft green luminous patch with a fuzzy edge and fine bright specks
Thorn Aura - ONE single upright ring of thorned vines, centred in a pure black field, a perfectly round band of dark green thorny stems seen straight on and face-on to the camera, luminous tips, floating in empty space
Sap Drip - ONE single falling strand of glowing sap, centred in a pure black field, a thick luminous amber-green strand stretching downward through empty space and beading at its tip, glowing from within, not attached to anything
The Unity download is a real .unitypackage exported from the editor, so the textures arrive as Sprites with alpha kept, no compression, and each 5x5 sheet already sliced into its 24 frames. UNITY_README.txt walks through turning a frame sequence into a playing clip, and which additive material to use. The zip of PNG frames is there too, for every other engine.
It also carries a demo scene. Open Demo/<pack> Demo.unity and every effect in the pack is laid out on a ground plane, playing at 24 fps with its name beside it, each one already wired up with a SpriteRenderer, an Animator and an additive material to copy straight into your own scene.
These are additive effects: authored on black, with alpha derived from their own brightness, so they drop straight into an additive or screen blend in Unity, Godot, Unreal, GameMaker, Defold, or a web canvas. The included README gives the exact blend setting for each engine. Normal alpha blending also works and simply reads a little flatter.
Authored at 24 fps and built to run continuously, with no hold and no ping-pong: the last frame hands back to the first, so an effect can sit on a character for a whole fight without a visible restart. Loop closure was measured on every variation, not assumed.
Every animation was measured for motion, loop closure and edge artefacts, then reviewed by eye; nothing here is a raw generator dump, and takes that did not hold up were cut rather than padding the count.
