Media 1 for listing Batch Texture Compression -Masks(no sRGB)-
0 comments

Description

Change the compression settings to "Masks (no sRGB)" for all selected texture.

The reason for this setting is to make sure the texture packing data is read correctly. Unlike a normal color texture, an texture packing stores different types of information in each channel.

Using Masks (no sRGB) tells Unreal to treat those values as data instead of color information, so the values remain accurate. Without it, Roughness or Metallic values can be changed and may not behave as expected.
