I believe this is a Scoria which is a volcanic rock that is formed from gas rich lava, and is characterized by its particular appearance and lightweight porous texture.

Feel free to correct me if this is a Pumice and not a Scoria. Since it has a darker color, seems more likely to be a Scoria.
