Documentation Showcase Tutorial
Voxelith is a complete, production-tested voxel framework: terrain, blocks, mining and building, water, foliage, saving and multiplayer are all here and already wired together. Everything is set up from the Details panel and Blueprints. No C++ required.
THE WORLD
Endless chunked terrain that streams around the player, generated and meshed on worker threads with greedy meshing
Classic sandbox generation out of the box: plains, forests, deserts and ridged mountains, caves, coal and iron ores, seas and beaches
See-through water with depth colour, shore foam and flowing fluids, plus an underwater view
14 hand-built voxel foliage meshes that sway in the wind; trees and boulders as prefabs you build right in the level editor
Your own terrain rules in Blueprint: heightmap or block-by-block generators
Preview and tweak the world live in the editor viewport, without pressing Play
BLOCKS YOUR WAY
Every block is a Data Asset: texture tiles, hardness, tools and tiers, loot tables, placement rules, sounds and effects
Glass and other see-through blocks, falling sand, spreading grass, and block behaviours to build your own interactable blocks (doors, lamps, chests)
Optional 3D block models with facing (furnaces that face the player, logs that follow the axis)
Up to 65,535 block types per world, with a one-click check that every block your terrain uses exists
MINING AND BUILDING THAT FEELS RIGHT
One component on your character: hold to break with crack stages, place with a ghost preview, works in first and third person
Your own input, or zero-setup demo controls (mouse, 1-9, mouse wheel)
MULTIPLAYER, SAVING AND MORE
Server-authoritative multiplayer: listen and dedicated servers, late join, tested with 100 ms lag
Save and load in the world's own slot or inside your existing save game. Only player changes are stored, so saves stay tiny
Cinematic Mode for Sequencer and Movie Render Queue: the world loads around the shot camera at full speed
Built for AI agents (MCP): console commands that answer in JSON, plus a full API file
PROVEN, NOT PROMISED
223 automated self tests, 43 gameplay checks and live key-press checks run on every build
Compiled with strict includes for Editor, Development and Shipping with zero warnings; a packaged Shipping game is tested on every release
Multiplayer tested with a listen server, a dedicated server and simulated lag
A step-by-step user guide covering every setting and every node, 2 demo levels and a Blueprint-only example project
INCLUDED
2 demo levels (flat blocks and 3D block models), demo character, game mode and HUD, 12 blocks, 10 foliage types, 3 structure types, water and underwater materials, and the full guide.
Windows (Win64), Unreal Engine 5.8. Code modules: Voxelith (Runtime), VoxelithEditor (Editor). Uses the engine's Procedural Mesh Component and Niagara.
