Description

This plugin uses precedural generated meshes based on splines. They can be provided with animations and particle emitters, which are following the spline. In addition you can easily create seamless tributaries, which can branch and join from and to any other spline flowing in the same direction. You can create very easily your own materials (Plugin provides example starting code). Also there is an automatic spline generation feature, when using unreal landscapes. A spline becomes generated dependent on specific heightmap information (like tangents). When you have some additional questions have a look at the video or post them here.

Fix for unreal version 4.26.2 and 4.27.1:

  • Spline generation did not work properly in some landscape scenarios. Updating heightmap reading code fixed the issue.

Update 1.01

  • BUG FIX : All types of landscapes work properly now (Bug when using landscapes > 8x8 Sections)
  • IMPROVEMENT : New spline generation algorithm with improved performance (Make sure to select correct river width for best results)
  • FEATURE : Plugin keeps track of deleted spline points. Tributaries become automatically updated when deleting spline points
