This is a highly detailed 3D model of the famous bronze portrait bust of Michelangelo Buonarroti created in 1564 by his close friend and disciple Daniele da Volterra (1509–1566).

The scan was made using RealityScan from an original 19th/early-20th century plaster cast (museum-grade copy) of the bronze original now conserved at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence.
