Dieselopolis: Dystopian MegaStructure is a large-scale modular 3D environment pack and procedural building toolkit for creating dense industrial, dieselpunk, cyber-dystopian, and megastructure environments in Unreal Engine.

The pack includes 161 Static Meshes covering modular architecture, residential and industrial structures, structural frames, exterior pipes, props, decals, holographic elements, and environmental details. Materials and PBR textures are designed around a consistent visual style, making it easier to combine assets into large, cohesive urban environments.

Alongside the 3D asset library, Dieselopolis includes several custom Blueprint-based tools and Editor Utilities designed to reduce repetitive environment-building tasks and speed up large-scale scene creation.

Key Features

  • 160 Static Meshes

  • Modular dystopian and industrial architecture

  • Residential, industrial, cyberpunk, and megastructure elements

  • Procedural modular building generation

  • Seed-based visual randomization

  • Data Table-driven building system

  • Batch building randomization through an Editor Utility Widget

  • Spline-based cable generation

  • Manual cable shaping with viewport spline controls

  • Automatic adjustable cable sag

  • Actor-based cable start and end anchors

  • Dynamic hologram generation

  • Procedural billboard, lighting, decal, and exterior-detail variations

  • Nanite support

  • Box, convex, and custom collision

Procedural MegaMaster Building System

BP_MegaBlock_Master allows modular building blocks to be generated and customized without manually assembling every architectural element.

Multiple block types and presets are included, covering Residential, Cyberpunk, Entrance, and Elevator configurations.

Seed-based controls can generate different visual variations of compatible elements such as window blinds, exterior piping, wall details, lamps, holographic billboards, decals, and structural details.

The system uses organized Data Tables and can be extended with supported custom assets, allowing users to adapt the generator to their own projects.

Building Randomizer

The included Editor Utility Widget provides centralized randomization controls for BP_MegaBlock_Master actors in the current level.

It can:

  • Randomize selected building blocks

  • Randomize all compatible blocks in the level

  • Randomize residential blocks only

  • Randomize decals independently

  • Control billboard and exterior-light probability

This makes it easier to create visual variation across duplicated building modules without editing every block individually.

Spline Cable Generator

BP_Cable_Tool allows cables to be created and shaped directly inside the Unreal Engine viewport.

Features include:

  • Custom cable meshes and materials

  • Adjustable cable diameter

  • Optional collision

  • Optional start and end connector meshes

  • Manual spline shaping

  • Adjustable automatic sag

  • Adjustable sag resolution

  • Actor-based start and end anchors

When Auto Sag is disabled, the cable follows the manually edited spline path. When enabled, additional gravity-style sag can be applied while retaining control over the cable layout.

Dynamic Hologram Builder

BP_HologramBuilder allows compatible Static Mesh assets to be displayed as customizable animated holograms.

Features include custom hologram materials, optional bounding boxes, optional 3D text meshes, placement controls, and independent rotation animation for the mesh, text, and holographic bounds.

Dieselopolis is designed for environment artists and level designers who want both a modular dystopian asset library and practical Blueprint tools for building large, detailed urban environments more efficiently.

This product uses Unreal Engine 5 Nanite for Static Meshes.

Some meshes may not include traditional baked lightmap UVs and are intended for Nanite + Lumen real-time rendering workflow.
