Despite being built for efficiency, these ferns don’t compromise on visual quality. Each model is enhanced with high-resolution, realistic textures and a custom master material that includes:

  • Subsurface scattering with an optional thickness mask for lifelike leaf translucency

  • Bent normal support for enhanced realism in film-quality lighting setups

  • Lightweight wind animation for subtle, immersive movement

This pack comes with pre-optimized settings included in the foliage type files for each one of the ferns, but of course this can all be modified as needed! When working with full geometry foliage, high poly counts for geometry is expected and the impact is minimal with Nanite enabled. This vastly outweighs the performance cost of using masked foliage with Nanite, so don't be afraid to paint these very densely across your environment!
