Descripción

ObservableProperty provides a native reactive variable system for Unreal Engine with automatic change detection, clean Blueprint graphs, and a zero-wrapper workflow.

Mark existing Blueprint variables as Observed and keep using standard SET and container nodes. ObservableProperty injects change notifications during Blueprint compilation while keeping your original graphs completely clean.

Core Features

  • Observed Variables: Turn existing Blueprint variables into reactive properties without replacing their native types.

  • Automatic OnChanged Graphs: Automatically generate OnChanged_VariableName(OldValue, NewValue) reaction graphs.

  • Standard SET Integration: Continue using normal Blueprint SET nodes while change notifications are handled automatically.

  • Container Mutation Tracking: Detect changes from supported Add, Remove, Clear, Insert, and other container operations.

  • Zero Canvas Clutter: No injected helper nodes, wrapper variables, or additional visual wiring on your Blueprint graphs.

  • Compiler-Level Notifications: Change detection is injected into Unreal's intermediate compilation graphs rather than modifying your source Blueprint canvas.

  • Persistent Rename Tracking: Automatically keep OnChanged graphs synchronized when observed variables are renamed.

  • Native C++ Observables: Use TObservable<T> for push-based reactive values, listeners, batching, tolerance checks, and safe object lifetime handling.

  • Replication Sync: Synchronize replicated values with local reactive notifications through FObservableNetSync<T>.

  • Blueprint-Only Fallback: Use UObservableValue for dynamic observable objects in Blueprint-only workflows.
