A ancient lost chamber environment designed to showcase advanced material and lighting techniques - This environment includes advanced materials that can be repurposed for your project and you can use the environment for your own content as well.
** Please keep in mind that as this environment is a technical showcase it is very resource heavy and is not intended to be used for performant gameplay but the materials included can be repurposed for use in more optimized environments. The Shader Complexity of the materials is high but due to their design you can make instances for just about any asset in your environment based off of them reducing the need for most other materials needed.
CORE FEATURES:
An advanced material system including material functions, master materials and instances with parameters that are organized in a very efficient manner that allow for quick and easy art direction. These materials are comprised of 1, 2 and 4 layer blending (including liquid) with vertex paint support, Nanite displacement, dynamic water with depth blur and full surface control as well as fully channel packed texture sets to improve art direction efficiency. There is also an advanced foliage material, an advanced light function material as well as an advanced light particle volume material (volumetric light particles)
A full real-time lighting setup utilizing Lumen and hardware raytracing for quick and easy art direction
DEPENDENCIES (If you migrate to another project):
The Fab plugin must be installed and enabled (used for the foliage wind parameters)
Hardware Ray Tracing must be enabled in the Project Settings (Used for Hit Lighting to improve GI)
Virtual Texturing must be enabled in the Project Settings (used to support 8K textures)
Modeling Tools Editor Mode plugin must be enabled to utilize vertex painting on Nanite meshes
