The portal master material offers tremendous creative freedom and can be used beyond portals. It’s versatile enough to create magical shields, energy spheres, impact effects, trails, ribbons in Niagara, and more.

    • Dissolve color for light & particles

    • Dissolve Niagara particle settings (system, color, spawn rate, UV side)

    • Independent effect durations

    • Custom dynamics via configurator curves

  • Child Niagara Systems support

  • Overlap & Dissolve stability upgrades + new “Portal Trigger” BP event asset

  • Portal Title now supports dissolve

  • Added CustomDepth-based Depth Fade Masking for glowing collision effect only on CustomDepth-enabled objects

  • Experimental Sequencer support:

    • “Update in Runtime” toggle for parameter animation;

    • alternative Event Repeater → UpdatePortalValues for in-editor preview & rendering
