In this animation pack, you will find an original moveset of varied moves with two Tonfas, a weapon used in martial arts and by the police. It consists of a baton, to which a perpendicular side handle is present, approximately at its quarter. The moveset is composed of 58 animations. There are single punches and kicks as well as varied combos (chaining several punches or kicks), and essential movement animations as well as dodges. This original moveset is composed of sometimes quite realistic, sometimes more fanciful moves, emphasizing above all the overall dynamism of the animation rendering. Note that all the animations have been optimized so that the blending (the transition) with the idle animation is as smooth as possible.The entire motion capture was performed by professional stuntwoman Ninon Clerc. In addition, each animation was manually retouched and finalized, always with an eye toward use in an action video game where combat is prevalent and requires a certain level of responsiveness.
Please note that only the animations are sold; no backgrounds are provided with the purchase. The 3D model is for aesthetic and technical purposes only. You may need to make some minor adjustments to ensure the animation properly matches your character. Remember to carefully watch our "Close Look" video, which shows all the animations, before purchasing.
On Unreal the tonfas will not be present in the FBX. However, the ‘ik_hand_r’ and L bones will give you the tonfa rotations. You will need to adjust their location, though.
