🚀 Now includes Epic's Official Unreal 5.8 MCP Server — no need to buy one separately. Backwards compatible to 5.5!
Run AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex directly inside Unreal Engine — alongside your full terminal workflow, version control, builds, and remote dev.
Transform Unreal Engine into a full AI-powered development platform. Run Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw, and 20+ other terminal programs — right inside the editor. Connect to Unreal's bleeding-edge MCP Server (copy from ue5-main branch) for full AI-assisted editor control. Execute Perforce and Horde commands. Split your terminal into panes with persisted sessions using tmux. SSH into remote servers, use WSL, and edit files with Vim — all without leaving the editor.🎙️Code with your voice using Windows voice typing.
Every serious studio is already running AI coding agents — Terminal is how you run them inside Unreal. No makeshift plugins or wrappers. Just the real, industry-standard CLIs tools directly in the editor, exactly as their creators intended. Pair them with Epic's official Unreal MCP Server (included) and your agent gets full engine control out of the box.
🛡️ TOS-Compliant — No Risk to Your AI Subscriptions
Other Unreal AI agent plugins on Fab route your prompts through third-party wrappers — potentially violating the Terms of Service of providers like Anthropic. Anthropic has already begun enforcing its TOS and banning accounts that use unofficial agents. Terminal instead provides a platform for the real, official CLI tools directly, exactly as each provider ships and supports them.
🌏 Now supporting Simplified Chinese.

⚠️ Epic's Unreal 5.8 MCP server plugin is experimental: It's made by Epic Games and is included here as a convenience until 5.8, where it will just be a normal dependency. It is not maintained or supported by us other than making sure it builds in older engine versions. For any issues specific to the official Unreal MCP server, you will need to create a ticket on the Unreal GitHub repo.
