ENG The Devil’s Claws are small holes on the north side of the Pisa Cathedral. Legend says the Devil tried to destroy the cathedral out of jealousy but was stopped by an angel, leaving only claw marks on the marble. The number of claw marks seems to change every time you count them. Graduating students count them 100 days before exams for good luck.

ITA Le Unghiate del Diavolo sono buchini sul lato nord della Cattedrale di Pisa. Secondo la leggenda, il Diavolo tentò di distruggere la cattedrale per gelosia, ma un angelo lo fermò lasciando solo segni di unghiate. Il numero delle unghiate sembra cambiare ogni volta che si contano. I laureandi le contano 100 giorni prima degli esami per buona fortuna.
