Descripción
APIAPI's networked interaction kit: interactor, interactable presets, prediction-friendly interaction protocol, prompt and glyph layer.
Unreal Engine 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8
An optional exclusive-queue lock ships as a component: while one player interacts, the others hold a queue position they can read in Blueprint
A door preset ships as a data asset you point at your own mesh
A lever preset ships as a data asset you point at your own mesh
A pickup preset ships as a data asset, with its pickup mode exposed as a setting
Optional automation suite: Content/UKInteraction/Tests (29 packages) and the UKInteractionTests module are the kit's customer-runnable automated tests. Your game does not need them; the module loads only in the editor. The 7 maps in Content/UKInteraction/Tests/Maps are automation fixtures and are not meant to be played: L_UKTest_Validity is deliberately misconfigured (a deleted preset reference and invalid interactables), so opening or playing it logs load and validator errors by design
Engine plugins the kit enables in its .uplugin. Both ship with Unreal Engine, so there is nothing extra to install:
Enhanced Input (EnhancedInput): binds the kit's interact action on the player controller and tells the on-screen prompt which key or gamepad button to show
Online Subsystem Utils (OnlineSubsystemUtils): used only by the kit's automated test module (UKInteractionTests) to run listen-server and dedicated-server test sessions; the runtime and client modules do not use it
