Medium 1 für Eintrag Sybil Temple Tea House

Beschreibung

The 3D model represents Christinensruh, a neoclassical garden structure built as a tea house in the form of a Sybil temple on the hill above the Brühl estate in Pförten, now Brody. The building is organized around a tall cylindrical core topped with a tin roof that gives the structure a clear and elegant silhouette. The upper section features a sequence of evenly spaced rectangular windows, allowing wide views across the surrounding landscape, which was the building’s original purpose. Beneath these, set above the lower doorways, are arched openings that form a rhythmic pattern around the façade. Historically, only one of these served as the actual entrance while the others were bricked in, creating a distinctive visual texture that blends classical form with practical adaptation.

A circular terrace surrounds the main cylinder and is supported by a full ring of Doric columns, reinforcing the building’s temple‑like character and giving it the open, airy presence typical of garden pavilions of the period. The adjoining chimney is included as part of the original architectural layout and rises alongside the main volume as a functional but unobtrusive element. While the model is based on the historical structure, it is not intended as a precise archaeological reconstruction. Instead, it offers a more idealized and classically refined interpretation of Christinensruh, whose remains today survive only as a ruin.

With its strong silhouette, readable geometry and clear architectural identity, this model works well in digital environments such as games, films or visualizations. It captures the essence of the original tea house while presenting a polished and adaptable form suited to contemporary creative use.
