Thermal Vision & Night Vision - Ultimate Post Process Material is a complete solution for achieving realistic military camera sensors, night vision goggles, and thermal imaging in Unreal Engine.

It includes a highly customizable master post-process material designed to simulate physical sensor characteristics. Key visual features include realistic Night Vision with light amplification, Thermal Vision with environment heat integration (reading Ambient Occlusion, Roughness, and Metallic buffers), and an advanced ENV Fusion mode that combines the night vision pass with thermal target contours. Additionally, the system features optional HLSL Sobel Edge Detection, node-based Fisheye distortion, and organic sensor noise.

The system is designed for a simple workflow using the included 9 ready-to-use Material Instances, covering presets like Green Phosphor, White Phosphor, Ironbow, and White Hot. The integrated Object Heat logic allows you to easily isolate specific targets via Custom Stencil. By mapping stencil values between 245 and 255, you can control individual heat intensities.

Important Note: To use the Object Heat feature, you must set the "Custom Depth-Stencil Pass" to "Enabled with Stencil" in your Project Settings.
