This 3D model represents a 13th-century Volga Bulgar helmet, inspired by archaeological finds from the Volga region of medieval Russia. The helmet features a conical iron dome, typical of steppe warrior equipment. Similar helmets were also used by the Cumans and even adopted by the Byzantine Empire, reflecting the cultural exchanges across medieval Eurasia.

It was originally designed for both protection and status, often decorated with fine details and sometimes fitted with a chainmail aventail to cover the neck and face.
