It automatically places asteroid instances inside a configurable 3D volume using randomized mesh selection, random scale variation, and sphere-based placement checks to help reduce overlap.

This tool is designed for fast level prototyping and environment setup. By adjusting a few exposed parameters, you can quickly control asteroid count, field size, scale range, and placement spacing.

Key features:

  • Automatic asteroid placement inside a configurable FieldBounds volume

  • Random mesh selection from a predefined asteroid array

  • Random uniform scale variation

  • Adjustable asteroid count

  • Adjustable placement validation using radius-based sphere checks
