The Anim Tools (AT) plugin previously named MoCap Tools (MCT) is a powerful framework for programmatically processing and modifying UAnimSequence assets within the Unreal Engine. It is designed with the express purpose of accelerating the animation-implementation workflow.

(All listed functionality is for the most recent version of the plugin.)

Some of the key features are listed below.

  • Bulk Animation Processing: Modify multiple AnimSequences at once.

  • Custom Operations: Create user-defined Operations the actions applied to UAnimSequence assets in either C++ or Blueprint. This means users are not limited to whatever Operations are shipped with the plugin.

  • Non-Destructive Workflow: Preview changes before applying them and choose whether to overwrite existing assets or generate new ones.

  • Per-Animation Property Control: Configure Operation properties differently for each AnimSequence.
