説明
PCG Pro Tools is a production-focused Unreal Engine 5.7 plugin that extends the native PCG framework with 17 custom PCG nodes, editor tools, presets, templates, and workflow helpers for procedural environment creation.
Unreal Engine’s PCG system is powerful, but real production workflows often need more than basic point generation. Points need to follow landscapes, align to splines, avoid roads or water areas, respect height, slope and landscape layer rules, avoid noisy clustering, react to distance-based metadata, and stay easy to tune inside the editor.
Version 1.1 is the biggest update so far, expanding PCG Pro Tools from 10 to 17 custom nodes, adding a new Graph Inspector workflow, improving presets, expanding the Template Library, and increasing the included content to 17 templates and 15 demo maps.

Why PCG Pro Tools?
PCG Pro Tools is built for developers, technical artists, environment artists, and indie teams who want more control over procedural placement without leaving Unreal Engine’s native PCG workflow.
Instead of rebuilding the same procedural logic across multiple projects or levels, this plugin gives you reusable PCG nodes and editor utilities for controlled placement, filtering, scattering, tuning, debugging, and preset-based workflows.
It is not an asset pack and does not include mesh content. PCG Pro Tools is a procedural workflow toolkit designed to work with your own assets, your own PCG graphs, and your own environment setups.
What PCG Pro Tools helps solve
Points floating above or below landscapes
Props that do not align correctly to terrain or splines
Scatter results that look too random, clumped, or uncontrolled
PCG graphs that are slow to tune without opening graph internals
Missing height, slope, distance, boundary, tag, water, spline, and landscape layer logic in common PCG workflows
Repeated setup work when building similar procedural systems across multiple levels or projects
Lack of fast editor-side inspection, debugging, and regeneration tools for PCG actors
Included Custom PCG Nodes
PCG Pro Tools includes 17 custom PCG nodes designed for common procedural environment problems such as spline-based placement, landscape projection, blue-noise thinning, grid snapping, density shaping, altitude filtering, slope filtering, boundary detection, distance metadata, tag-based selection, clustering, relaxation, noise masks, avoidance zones, water-aware placement, landscape layer sampling, and debug logging.
Included nodes:
Align To Nearest Spline
Blue Noise Scatter
Boundary Detect
Clump Scatter
Density Falloff
Distance To Nearest Tag
Grid Snap
Height Filter
Landscape Layer Sampler
Noise Mask Filter
Print Stats
Project To Landscape
Relax Points
Slope Filter
Spline Avoidance
Water Body Avoidance
Weighted Selection By Tag
New in v1.1
7 new custom PCG nodes
Graph Inspector for faster parameter editing
Expanded Template Library with 17 ready-made graphs
15 demo maps
Improved preset workflow
One-click preset snapshot from current settings
Auto-Regenerate on parameter edits
Bulk Regenerate for selected PCG actors
Full Undo/Redo support for editor tweaks
Right-click PCG actor → Open in Graph Inspector
New Project Settings for performance guards and deterministic mode
Editor Tools Included
Graph Inspector
Inspect and tweak PCG node parameters without constantly opening the PCG Graph editor. Designed for faster iteration on selected PCG actors and graph instances.
Template Library
Access 17 ready-made PCG graph templates and spawn prepared setups into your level with a one-click workflow.
Debug Overlay
Visualize PCG actor bounds directly in the editor viewport. Use selected-only mode for lightweight inspection or broader scopes when needed.
Preset System
PCG Pro Tools includes a preset system for saving and reapplying parameter setups across PCG graphs. You can snapshot current settings into a new preset, reuse tuning setups across levels, and apply ready-made presets such as Beach Sparse, Forest Dense, Mountain Rocky, and Urban Grid.
Included Content
17 ready-made PCG graph templates
15 demo maps
4 ready preset setups
Editor tools for inspection, tuning, debugging, and regeneration workflows
Example Use Cases
PCG Pro Tools is especially useful for:
Procedural forests and foliage-style scatter setups
Spline-based roads, paths, fences, signs, and roadside props
Biome transitions and mixed environment zones
Height-based placement on terrain
Slope-based vegetation and rock placement
Landscape layer driven placement workflows
Water avoidance around rivers, lakes, and oceans
Grid-based city or modular layouts
Organic clusters for trees, rocks, flowers, and props
Terrain-aware scatter systems
Tag-driven procedural logic
Editor-side PCG tuning and debugging
What this plugin is not
Not a mesh pack
Not an environment art pack
Not a landscape sculpting tool
Not a replacement for Unreal Engine’s native PCG system
Not a one-click world generator
Not tested for Unreal Engine versions outside Unreal Engine 5.7
Runtime PCG output replication is not automated by this plugin
Upgrade Notes from v1.0
Some assets and nodes changed in v1.1:
PCGT_VillageCorner was renamed to PCGT_ForestSetup
PCGT_GridBuildings was renamed to PCGT_GridSnap
SurfaceSlopeFilter was replaced by PCG Pro: Slope Filter
Old graphs using the previous SurfaceSlopeFilter node may need manual node replacement and value re-entry.
PCG Pro Tools is built to extend the PCG workflow, not hide it. It gives you additional building blocks, cleaner editor workflows, faster iteration tools, and more practical control while staying inside Unreal Engine’s native procedural generation system.
