It was the most widely used medium tank by the US Armed Forces during the Korean War. Developed at the end of World War II, it was used as the main battle tank of the US Armed Forces throughout the entire period of the Korean War. It effectively supported the ROK and UN Armed Forces, especially during the struggles to secure high lands using its outstanding 76mm gun, durable and easy-to-maintain engine, and long-term operational experience.
