Media 1 for listing Collectibles System

Description

The Showcase level is a demonstration of what can be achieved, but not restricted to that, as the entire gameplay is made up of several gameplay systems that allow you to use your creativity to create and customize your gameplays the way you want.

The project is mostly made up of Function Libraries and Macro Libraries (when possible) with all the most important variables hosted in the Game Instance for better organization and workflow in large projects.

In addition, all the Blueprints are visually organized just like all functions and variables are named according to their function to make it easier to read and memorize.

Features

  • Collectables

Whenever you collect a collectable, the name of the collectable will appear on the screen, how many you have already collected and how many remain to be collected from that same category.

There are 6 independent collectibles if you want to add other types such as action figures, USB sticks, dolls and any other type of object you want. You can also add more collectibles to your game if you need.

  • Collectables Menu

To access the menu, hold down the tab key for a few seconds and a menu will appear where you can see all the collectibles in the game and those already collected.

  • Collectable Material

We added a pulse effect material so you can easily find the collectable in dark areas or with less visibility. The effect is not supposed to replace the material of your object, but rather you add the effect to the material of your specific mesh so that it does not lose its texture or appearance.

  • Level Up

A very complete level system with an animated bar.

Whenever you collect a collectable you will earn points, if you complete all the collectables in that category you will earn a XP bonus that will help you boost your level more faster.

You can also combine it with our money system so that when the player completes each category of collectibles they also win a cash reward for example.

  • Auto Save Game

We have also included an auto save for demonstration, whenever you start your game it will automatically load the save file and will save whenever you close your game so you don't need to worry if the game is constantly saving during gameplay. You can use it or simply link it to your own save system if you already have one.
