This is a meticulously crafted, high-fidelity MetaHuman digital character inspired by the legendary Taiwanese actress Brigitte Lin (Lin Qingxia). It was created with the specific goal of capturing her iconic appearance as the Yaochi Immortal Fortress Master in Tsui Hark’s classic 1983 film Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain (also widely referred to within Chinese film culture as part of the broader Legend of Zu / Shushan series). In that film, Brigitte Lin’s look drew heavily from Dunhuang cave murals and the flying apsara (Feitian) aesthetic. The result was an ethereal, coldly beautiful, and otherworldly presence: flowing white silk, a sense of immortality, and a perfect balance of elegance and martial bearing. That visual became one of the most enduring images of East Asian cinematic beauty and later influenced her even more famous portrayal of Dongfang Bubai (Asia the Invincible).

We are fully aware of the profound weight this image of Lin Qingxia (Brigitte Lin) holds in the hearts of Chinese-speaking film fans. Therefore, this character does not rely on a generic “Asian female” face. Instead, it has been carefully sculpted through multiple rounds of refinement. Throughout the creation process, we repeatedly referenced classic film stills and footage, making precise adjustments to the brow ridge, eye shape, nasal wings, and lip contours. The resulting digital double strives to “restore Brigitte Lin’s appearance as closely as possible—capturing her distinctive bone structure, eye shape, and overall aura: cool, refined, and elegant with a subtle androgynous quality and a quiet sense of immortality—while leaning more toward the ethereal, otherworldly fairy-like presence from The Legend of Zu / Zu Warriors.” It preserves her signature heroic bearing and cool elegance while granting the character full freedom to be driven and further customized within modern game engines.
