설명

The Castle of Bardi, also known as the Landi Castle, is an imposing fortress situated on a “cliff” of red jasper in the eponymous village in the province of Parma.

Located in the center of the Ceno Valley, the building overlooks the point where the Noveglia stream flows directly into the Ceno. Although today the geographical position of the village seems secluded and off the commercial and tourist routes, in the Middle Ages, when the routes and the need for territorial control were different, it was an important stop on the route of one of the many variations of the Via Francigena.
