TECHNICAL DETAILS
Full-color artwork with transparent backgrounds. Larger exports are resampled/upscaled from smaller source artwork, not native 1024px paintings. Engine imports use 512px textures for a practical UI workflow. Unity uses single-sprite imports with alpha transparency and no mipmaps; the provided demonstration scenes use the Built-in pipeline. The PNG/sprite artwork can be used in Built-in, URP, HDRP or custom pipelines with the appropriate UI/sprite material. Unreal textures use UserInterface2D compression, sRGB and no mipmaps.
Tested in Unity 6000.5.4f1 on Windows, including fresh-package import. The UE 5.8 delivery was extracted into a new folder, all 1,000 textures loaded and exported, and decoded RGBA pixels compared with the delivered source PNGs. Other operating systems and mobile targets have not been runtime-tested.
Static 2D artwork only: no gameplay systems, animations, 3D models, sounds or functioning UI widgets. Roman-inspired game art, not an archaeological reconstruction. Some object themes recur across categories as different designs. Presentation images are styled promotional compositions; videos show samples of the delivered PNG files. Decorative presentation frames and backgrounds are not separate assets.
QUICK START
Unity: import the .unitypackage, then open Assets/CobaltAncientRome1000/Demo/Overview.unity or a category scene. Unreal: extract the ZIP, open CobaltAncientRome1000.uproject in UE 5.8, then browse Content/CobaltAncientRome1000/Icons. Use the textures in your own UMG brushes/materials. For 1024px versions, import the PNGs from Additional Files.
