Advanced Action Combat System is designed to be a flexible and high quality combat system that aims to provide an workflow for creating new combat mechanics with minimal coding. It was designed and structured like a framework, in the sense that it is a conjuction of multiple components, functions and features that, acting like building blocks, makes your combat system.

A common characteristic of most marketplace combat systems is that they are structured in a way that changes are only possible in the visuals and settings, like animations, VFX, etc. This in my opinion makes those systems look dated or repetitive very quickly. AACS tries to avoid this by offering not just visual changes, but by facilitating the creation of actual gameplay mechanics through modular components, functions, gameplay tags and much more.

For example, want to create a new attribute? It is just create a new gameplay tag for and assign it for the character. Need to link this attribute so when it reach a certain percentage the character enter a special state? Just assign it in the attribute data tables. Want to play a special finisher synced animation when attacking enemies in this state? Just a few configuration and it is done, with minimal to no coding required.
