In the 19th and the early 20th century were  common furnitures the richly decorated tables in coffee houses, clubs and casinos. The table tops were often made of marble, which made them durable and elegant. Mostly in Western Europe and USA.

From the first half of the 20th century this kind of tables was considered old-fashioned.
