A Historic Asset for PBR Workflows

This asset is part of a dedicated effort to bring the Virtual Museums of Małopolska's incredible photogrammetry archives into the professional production pipeline. By refining these raw historical records, we aim to preserve their legacy in a format optimized for 2026 real-time engines and high-end renders. The description of the chest on their Sketchfab page:

"The presented object is a high, dark green chest, resting on four profiled legs with a drawer at the bottom. The front wall is decorated with a painted pattern of vertical rectangles with concavely incised corners, made more pronounced by a honey background and a narrow burgundy red frame. The drawing is similar to natural field flowers; yet the colours and fanciful foliage render their appearance unrealistic. Leaning towards naturalism, the nature of the paint layer indicates a later date of origin, and its awkward painting points to a set of semi-professional skills, or even to individual, and definitely not mass, production."

The Asset Refining Workflow

• Heritage Preservation: Retained the original museum UV layout to ensure 100% texture authenticity.

• Modern Engineering: Rebuilt the raw high poly scan into a clean, quad-based silhouette (Z-up, world-origin aligned). Includes a model with the high poly topology of the original scan and a remeshed mid poly model, both use same UVs.

• Texture Maps: The raw scan provided only albedo map. The map was processed for noise removal and detail enhancement. PBR maps were created with the unparalleled precision of Artomatix ArtEngine.

• 2 x Texture Sets: Includes both the Original Artifact textures and a "Worn Out" variant for cinematic storytelling.

Pricing

While the raw scan was distributed for free, turning the raw scan into a production ready asset took considerable time, and the pricing reflects those production costs.
