Mídia 1 do anúncio Ice & Frost VFX Vol. 1 - 32 2D Sprite Sheet Effects

Descrição

32 ice and frost effects: the cold half of an elemental kit. Freeze bursts, shattering ice, frost blooms, icicle spikes, snow puffs, freezing breath, hail impacts and expanding ice novas, all with the crystalline structure that separates ice from generic blue magic.

These are 2D sprite animations. Every effect is a flipbook of drawn frames, not a 3D particle system and not a VFX Graph asset. You play them on a sprite, a quad or a UI image, which is why they behave the same in any engine and need no per-engine setup.

How this pack is organised: the pack is one theme. The theme holds 8 effects, and each effect comes as 4 separate animated variations of itself, so the same effect does not play identical frames every time it fires. 32 animations in total.

Every variation ships in four formats, ready for whatever your engine prefers:

frames/001-024.png - numbered RGBA sequence, 768x768

sheet.png - one 5x5 spritesheet, 3840x3840, RGBA

anim.png - lossless animated PNG with alpha, for web and UI

preview.gif - small looping preview for quick browsing

The eight effects:

Freeze Burst - ONE single icy freeze burst, centred in a pure black field, a pale blue-white shockwave of crystalline shards radiating from a bright core, frost mist at the edges

Ice Shatter - ONE single shattering ice pane, centred in a pure black field, angular translucent blue fragments flying apart from a bright fracture point, sharp edges catching light

Frost Bloom - ONE single burst of jagged frost shards, centred in a pure black field, irregular pale blue ice shards and feathered frost splinters bursting outward from a bright core at uneven lengths and angles, asymmetric, crystalline

Icicle Spike - ONE single cluster of ice spikes, centred in a pure black field, several sharp translucent blue icicles radiating outward from a single bright point in mid air, bright edges, nothing beneath them

Snow Puff - ONE single burst of glittering frost powder, centred in a pure black field, a soft burst of fine white frost powder and glittering ice dust spraying outward from a bright point and hanging in the air, loose and irregular, like breath on a freezing night, floating in empty space with nothing beneath it

Frost Breath - ONE single jet of freezing vapour, centred in a pure black field, a plume of pale blue cold mist streaming outward and spreading as it goes, wispy and semi-transparent with crystalline flecks tumbling through it, dense where it starts and ragged at the far end

Hail Impact - ONE single hailstone impact burst, centred in a pure black field, a scatter of small hard pale blue ice pellets flying apart from a bright impact flash at the centre, frost dust between them, seen straight on

Ice Nova - ONE single expanding ring of ice, centred in a pure black field, a flat circular wave of pale blue crystalline spikes rising from a bright centre, frost mist behind it

The Unity download is a real .unitypackage exported from the editor, so the textures arrive as Sprites with alpha kept, no compression, and each 5x5 sheet already sliced into its 24 frames. UNITY_README.txt walks through turning a frame sequence into a playing clip, and which additive material to use. The zip of PNG frames is there too, for every other engine.

It also carries a demo scene. Open Demo/<pack> Demo.unity and every effect in the pack is laid out on a ground plane, playing at 24 fps with its name beside it, each one already wired up with a SpriteRenderer, an Animator and an additive material to copy straight into your own scene.

These are additive effects: authored on black, with alpha derived from their own brightness, so they drop straight into an additive or screen blend in Unity, Godot, Unreal, GameMaker, Defold, or a web canvas. The included README gives the exact blend setting for each engine. Normal alpha blending also works and simply reads a little flatter.

Authored at 24 fps and built to fire and finish: each effect opens, peaks and clears rather than looping, which is what a one-shot needs to read at gameplay speed. Every variation was measured for motion so none of them sit still on screen.

Every animation was measured for motion, clean start and finish and edge artefacts, then reviewed by eye; nothing here is a raw generator dump, and takes that did not hold up were cut rather than padding the count.

Royalty-free for commercial and personal projects, with no attribution required. No resale or redistribution as an asset pack; full license text is included in the download.
