Thank you for the tremendous support of our product throughout the time we’ve been building it together. Your support means even more now, as Russia continues its full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
Today, we’ve decided to make the plugin completely free. Over this time, both the product and the team have become stronger, and we believe that powerful tools should be accessible to as many creators as possible around the world. From now on, this plugin is our reputation project and our contribution to the Unreal Engine community.
We will continue to support and maintain the plugin for all users, with priority support for everyone who purchased it before it became free. Your trust helped this project grow, and we want to give something back.
Here are a few quick numbers that show how much your support has meant to us:
Number of installations of the Virtual App: 12k+
Number of plugin reviews: 33
Average rating: 4.9
Number of questions/answers: 98
Number of support emails answered: 401
Thank you all for being part of this journey!
This technology allows you to turn Android devices into a virtual joystick, as well as into a virtual camera, which will be useful for designers and developers who create new game mechanics and work with models and game cameras.
The plugin works not only in the Unreal Editor, but also in packaged builds on Android and PC.
This means you can use your mobile device to control cameras, objects, or actors directly in a running game, opening up new possibilities for gameplay design, prototyping, and experimental interactions.
Unlike most traditional virtual camera solutions that are limited to editor-only workflows, this plugin is designed to work in real packaged builds on Android and PC.
While most virtual camera tools focus purely on cinematic workflows, our solution is fully extensible at the development level and can be adapted for multiple use cases beyond virtual production.
The plugin can be used as:
a Virtual Camera
a custom gameplay controller
a virtual joystick
an interactive input device for controlling actors, objects, or environments in real time
This flexibility allows developers to treat a mobile device as a real gameplay input tool, similar in concept to Kinect-style interactions, but adapted for modern mobile and Unreal Engine workflows.
For local Video Streaming, we use our streaming system, which works in Play Editor and can be used with Sequence Recorder.
