Inspiration
The original tracks drew inspiration from the trash metal genre, the symphonic metal genre, and the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack. But these versions evoke the rock sound of soundtracks such as the Mega Man X series. I used vintage electric guitar and drums samples to achieve a similar sound and vibe.
For the Orchestral instruments, I used retro synths that emulate the classical instruments, and now give a retro and nostalgic feel. This collection is an homage to the SNES era music.
In general, the tracks evoke action, combat, intense chases and fast-paced in-game moments.
