Sweep is an Unreal Engine editor plugin designed to reduce wire clutter caused by heavily reused Blueprint Variable Get nodes.

Instead of manually recreating Variable Gets and rewiring long data connections, right-click a supported Get and let Sweep reorganize the graph for you.

Distribute Variable Gets

Turn one shared Variable Get with several long outgoing wires into local Gets positioned beside the nodes that consume the value.

Sweep follows Blueprint reroute chains to the real destination inputs, groups multiple inputs on the same destination under one generated Get, and removes only reroutes that become genuinely unused.

Consolidate Variable Gets

Select equivalent Variable Gets, right-click the one you want to keep, and consolidate the others into it.

The right-clicked Get remains in place while the other selected Gets transfer their existing direct or rerouted connections to it.

Multi-Selection

Several eligible Variable Gets can be distributed together in one editor transaction.

Conservative Graph Rewriting

Sweep compares the actual variable reference and input context rather than relying on visible node names. Consolidation is only available when the selected Gets can be treated as equivalent.

Undo and Redo

Each Sweep operation participates in Unreal Engine's normal Undo and Redo workflow.

Editor Only

Sweep adds no runtime gameplay systems and has no impact on packaged game behavior.
