This is a pack containing a variety of meshes, blueprints, materials, textures and levels that will help you create a retro rocky cave.

UPDATES:

  • Version 1.2

    • Added Affine UV mapping for that retro UV warping effect.

    • Changed the vertex snapping logic to be screen space based instead of position based for a better effect for close and far verticies, not just the mid ground.

  • Version 1.1

    • Bug fixes after the FAB migration.

Two maps are included with this pack, an Asset Zoo that contains all of the assets of the pack and an Example Map that shows you an example use case of what you could create with this pack.

This pack supports Unreal Engine 4.27+.

Meshes have been created to work well with old school vertex lighting if your project uses that lighting method, but also work well with all other standard lighting methods.

NOTES:

  • Make sure your screen percentage is set to 100% in viewport settings for the dithering effect to work properly. In UE5 you can change the 'Default screen percentage mode for realtime editor viewports to 'manual', then Manual screen percentage as 100 in the Project settings.
