Born in the age of Enlightenment, Nikola Spitzgeschoss, was saved from a fatal illness when his father performed radical experiments, implanting zero-point fragments directly into his heart and brain. The procedure successfully cured his affliction but it plunged Nikola into a two-century slumber.  Awaking centuries later as a grown man in an unfamiliar era, Nikola was consumed by anger and fear, unleashing terrifying, almost uncontrollable energies that nearly destroyed his surroundings. However, after discovering a message proving his father was still alive, he chose to master his new powers and adopt the persona of the Atomic Savage, setting out to track down his father in hopes of regaining his original human form.
