Welcome to the Basic Enemy AI package! We’ve made significant changes to the code, including adding new functions and features like the new combat system. The documentation has also been updated for better clarity and usability. We hope this product meets your expectations, as it has for our other customers. Thank you for your support!
Features
Patrolling System
AI patrols between set points and pursues the player when spotted.
Resumes patrolling if the player is no longer in sight.
Random Movement
AI moves to random locations within a specified radius.
Interrupts roaming to pursue the player when spotted.
Idle Mode
AI remains stationary until detecting the player.
Returns to its starting position if the player escapes.
Health System
Displays a health bar above the AI’s head.
AI transitions to a ragdoll state upon death, with configurable despawn options.
Combat System
AI can play attack animations and damage the player with hand/foot triggers.
Targets also transition into a ragdoll state upon death.
Customizability
Extensive settings available in the details panel to adjust AI behavior and features.
Additional Notes
Blueprint-Only: Developed entirely in Blueprints for ease of modification.
Not Multiplayer-Compatible: Designed for single-player experiences.
Animations: Includes basic animations from Unreal Engine; additional animations must be integrated separately.
