Old 1920’s houses ruined scene (including some ground floor interiors) of Ceska Beseda street in Usti nad Labem (CZ), now going to be torn down in coming weeks, despite their historic values

The two tenement houses originally for the employees of the chemical factory are the first known buildings of E. Breindl. What is particularly interesting about them are the curved lysens that form the frames around the entrances. These unobtrusive continuous spikes echo Cubist and Expressionist ideas. The left-hand house also retains a beautiful original entrance door. https://usti-aussig.net/stavby/karta/nazev/223-zamestnanecke-domy-v-ul-u-ceske-besedy
