First Person Puzzle Platformer Template is a Blueprint-only UE5 first-person platformer/puzzle template built around a clean demo + showcase level.
It focuses on modular traversal abilities, interaction systems, and reusable trap/puzzle actors that can be quickly linked together for prototyping or full projects.

Traversal Abilities
Dash for fast gap clears and momentum bursts (cooldown-based)
Slow Motion for precise timing and platforming control
Ability HUD shows dash readiness and slow motion state
Platforms & Hazards
Modular platforms: static / moving / drop-on-step
Acid pool as a lethal zone (instant death / respawn trigger)
Modular traps: laser fields, force fields, wall crushers (toggle-ready)
Interaction & Puzzles
Pressure plate system to trigger multiple target actors (one plate → many traps/mechanisms)
Keypad-locked doors (PIN input) with codes found via readable notes
Stackable door keys for doors without keypads (keys accumulate)
Level Progress
Checkpoints save the last reached respawn point
Respawn returns the player to the latest checkpoint (or initial spawn if none)
Death zones and traps trigger instant respawn
Finish trigger for level completion flow

Setup (Quick Start)
Open the Demo or ShowCase map and press Play.
To integrate into your project, migrate the FPPlatformTemplate folder.
Use the provided actors (doors, keypad, plates, traps, checkpoints) and configure exposed variables in Details.
Link Pressure Plate targets and Trap actors via BPI_Traps for fast puzzle setup.
Notes
Built and tested on UE 5.7 (select additional versions only if you test them).
Visuals are intentionally minimal to keep the template lightweight and easy to customize.
