Set of Iberian ceramics of different types found in the south and southeastern peninsular Spain. Iberian ceramics are widely known both for their study and their typology, however, we must highlight the existence of those Iberian ceramic utensils and vessels that do not have painted decoration. These cannot be dissociated from the painted production, since they are made with the same type of pastes, shapes and even technique. Iberian potters produced pottery in their workshops that they molded, dried and fired as a unit. The pastes are refined, hard and compact, with colors ranging from orange to gray, being able to find in their typology, jars, plates, cups, jars, barrels, mortars, etc. Within this category of common ceramics we can also include kitchen pottery, which, being called coarse, was characterized by being fired at low or medium temperature, resulting in fire-resistant pastes. The surfaces were poorly cared for, smoothed, and degreasers were visible on the surface. They usually do not show decorations. Among its forms, pots, lids, jars, casseroles, etc. and other utensils that, together with common pottery, served as household utensils.
