Since Unreal's standard package doesn't provide a side scroller along the lines of the classic and beloved Beat Em Ups, I decided to provide this basis of a beat em up game that brings that feeling back.

It's like the classic beat 'em ups, such as Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Final Fight, and Streets of Rage. It supports local co-op with two controllers or with the keyboard. (It runs great on original Xbox controllers.)

This package delivers a complete Blueprint framework designed to replicate classic beat ’em up movement in side scroller projects. It includes advanced combat features such as combo mechanics, hit reactions, power projectiles, particle spawn support, and flexible combat logic.

With Classic and Modern lifebar modes, Grabs & Throws, checkpoint system, enemy wave spawner, score tracking, combo counter, and now a fully integrated Weapons system, the package offers a robust and expandable foundation for professional beat ’em up games.

ATTENTION:
Do NOT upgrade from 5.4 or 5.5 to 5.6. Instead, create directly in 5.6

if you're going to use it. Same for UE 5.7.
Create the project directly in the version that will be used.
