Dark Garden VFX — Black Mist & Cursed Blooms
51 dark Niagara systems across 51 flowers — creeping black mist for cursed gardens, necromantic groves, and haunted forest scenes.
Dark Garden VFX is the line's villain pack. The BlackMist Niagara family wraps every one of the 51 stylised flowers in slow-creeping, ominous dark smoke that hugs the plant base and drifts outward across the ground. Reads as: curse, corruption, necromancy, plague, blight, or just "that flower is definitely poisonous and you should not touch it."
While the pack ships BlackMist across all 51 meshes (so any flower in your scene can be cursed instantly), the included demo level focuses on the seven natural dark heroes from the flower library:
BloodLotus, EbonBloom, EnchantedNightshade, SpiderToadstool, CrimsonCapToadstool, DrippingCapMushroom, MysteriousFungus
These meshes were designed with dark fantasy palettes from the start and read most strongly under the BlackMist effect. The remaining 44 flowers still carry the BlackMist NSes — useful for corrupting a previously-clean fae garden, or for "this looks normal but actually it's cursed" plot moments.
All systems are content-only with no plugin dependencies. The pre-built demo level ships with dynamic lighting tuned for moody, low-key reads.
