Spire Systems Status Effect System Lite is a lightweight Blueprint-only timed status effect foundation for Unreal Engine 5.7.

This system gives developers a reusable Actor Component for applying, refreshing, removing, clearing, displaying, and testing timed buffs and debuffs on an actor. It includes simple effect data, active effect tracking, duration countdowns, tick behavior, automatic expiration, HUD display, and a playable demo showing Burn, Slow, Heal Over Time, and Shield.

The included demo lets users test effects with keyboard controls, view active effects on screen, watch timers count down, remove effects, clear all effects, apply demo damage, and test Shield damage reduction.

This is a lightweight status effect foundation. It is not a full RPG stat system, Gameplay Ability System replacement, full combat framework, inventory system, save system, or multiplayer replication framework. The included health and shield values are demo values for showing Burn, Slow, Heal Over Time, Shield, and damage testing.
