Open World Audio System is a Blueprint-only area-audio framework for ambient sounds and exploration, tension and combat music. Define settings per area and let one sound manager handle playback, pausing, blending and state changes.
Large levels often need many overlapping audio rules: location, time of day, interiors and gameplay tension can all affect what the player should hear. This system keeps those rules in reusable area settings so you can build distinct soundscapes without wiring every transition by hand.
โญ Why Use It?
Give each area its own identity: Use music, ambience and random ambient sounds.
Centralize playback logic: Let one sound manager coordinate the system.
Move between gameplay states: Use exploration, tension and combat music.
Blend with time of day: Avoid switching every track manually.
Handle interiors separately: Create more believable transitions.
Use it in multiplayer projects: Keep playback logic on the client.
