Step inside a working cannon foundry at the height of the gunpowder age. The Medieval Foundry Kit reconstructs the complete lifecycle of cannon production — from raw materials to finished bronze — based on extensive historical research into authentic foundry practices of the period. Every casting stage, tool, and workstation has been designed to reflect how cannons were genuinely made, not how they're typically depicted in fiction.
The kit features a fully modular foundry complex with both exterior and interior environments, allowing you to build complete layouts or isolate specific areas: casting halls with sand pits and clay molds, boring workshops with period-accurate drilling rigs, drying rooms lined with ceramic mold sections, open-air yards with cannon stacks and hoisting frames, and a richly detailed courtyard bearing the Lorens & Sons Foundry sign. Modular wall, roof, and structural pieces let you reconfigure the layout to fit your own scene.
Casting cores wrapped in rope and clay, cooling troughs, bronze ingot carts, hoisting cranes, hand-cranked boring lathes — each prop tells a specific part of the production process.
