Some code plugins are only available on github, or have a beta branch on github. This plugin makes it easy to stay up to date and easily install these plugins directly from github.

How to use:

A new Download button is added to the Plugins window. Enter the info of the github repo you want to use and click Download.

If you want to access a private repo, create a token on github with the REPO scope.
